Elliot Davis - Percussion

Elliot was born into a musical family, most notably as the son of John Davis, the well known Midlands basedElliot Davis - Derwent Brass Percussion conductor of the former Riddings and most recently Dronfield & Newstead band fame. It seems Elliot withstood the inevitable pressure to follow in the family footsteps and play a brass instrument, instead chosing to opt for the peaceful sounds of a Drum Kit - we are glad he did as he has proved to be a fantastic percussionist!

Elliot has played before for the band by stepping in to support at an array of events and has always proved to be a very talented musician - the band were therefore delighted when he accepted the invitaiton to join Derwent Brass in Spring 2014. Elliot, as a versatile percussionist as also helped out an array of other Championship Section bands in the past, perhaps most notably and recently the famous Flowers Band. Elliot joins the boys at the back, leaving his former position as Principal Percussionist at the Dronfield Band.
