We have been shortlisted in the Making Music Awards 2023!
Derwent Brass are thrilled to have made the shortlisted nominees for the 2023 Making Music Awards.
The awards celebrate Making Music's nearly 4,000 member groups and their activity, and the often unrecognised talent which helps the sector to flourish across the UK. Prizes range from promotion across Making Music’s networks to opportunities for other musical projects.
We have been shortlisted for the all-new Green Award, introduced in 2023 to celebrate a Making Music member group that has made an outstanding effort to improve their environmental sustainability. Other shortlisted groups include the KJV Community Children’s Choir, the Maldon Orchestra and the Sheffield Brass Network.
The shortlists and winners are decided by a panels of experts drawn from across the music sector and will be announced by Making Music President Debbie Wiseman OBE at the Making Music Awards ceremony on Thursday 5 October.
